Walking down the alley

by Jenny   Jessy_Cary@gmx.net

Walking down the alley
Each step's a treasured memory
Today no one passes that way
The old gates are watching, waiting
The trees still sing your songs
While the wind takes away their leaves
To some foreign countries
Will they meet you someday???

The last singing birds of autumn
Tell the story's
Returning in my dreams each night
There was laughter, fun and music
Friendships build to last,
So much future spell to catch
Today I see
There's no way to change what's ment to be

Nothing's left of our world
Only some old gates watching, waiting
Cause no one dares telling
That there's no returning
I say my final goodbye
With the trees and birds I'll cry
The wind's helping me getting along
Making each tear become a word of this song
