Deutsche Version von diesem Bericht / German Version of this review So this is my first concert review. There will be more to follow but I'll start with this one for now. Hünfeld was one of the greatest concerts so far I have seen! Everything was just perfect and I will tell you why.
At first we had no problems getting in. Although there was a big crowd in front of the entrance the securities managed to handle everything so fine that there was no pushing at all. Inside there was, for the first time in years, no second barrier and it wasn't necessary either. The stage was very broad and also very high so you could see perfectly well, even from far away. People were not pushing at all in front of the stage, although this was only where I was standing, don't know how it was in the middle in the front. But we stood a little bit left to the stage in 7th or 8th row and we had enough space to dance and sing. Weather was also fine, no rain, just the right temperature. So these were only the perfect surrounding circumstances. When the concert started, it got even better. The Kellys were all in a good mood and actually, I didn't really miss the three who weren't there (Kathy, John, Barby) because the rest was having such a good party on stage. They sang some new songs like "So many things I wanna do" (Maite), "Warriors of Love" (Jimmy) and "Alle Kinder brauchen Freunde" (Jimmy, Paddy). I liked the last one best, much better then the original version *smile*. And there was also a good mix of the older songs like "Looking for Love" (I love Patricia for singing that, it's one of my favourite songs) or "Key to my heart". The best song for me though was "Please don't go" because Patricia was laying so much emotions into that song that I just melted away.
The concert had a funny end from which you can see that the Kellys enjoyed the concert as much as we did! After one encore, people kept shouting "encore" still until the Kellys came out again after quite a while. They just stood on stage talking to each other and Maite explained to us that they didn't plan to give a second encore so they had to think about what song to play. She also asked us what they should play but, of course, it was 4000 people shouting different songs all at once so she couldn't take one of our ideas of course. They finally decided for "Na na na" which was quite a good choice I think. I would have liked "We are the world" better, but they probably weren't able to play that after such a long time.
Anyway, it was a great concert and I was soo happy I went there because it was quite a long way for me to get there. And it also seemed to be one of the few concerts where Paddy wasn't wearing one of those "weird" hats he's wearing nowadays. I just don't like them. So, for all, who hadn't the chance to go to this concert, this was just a little report (it would take to long to get into all the details). Hope you'll like it.
